About Us

Namaste!

We cordially welcome you to First Environmental Trekking. Our company is registered with the Nepal Government as a recognized trekking operator company, and has achieved the membership of the TAAN (Trekking Agents Association), the KEEP (Kathmandu Environment Educational Program), Village Tourism Promotion Forum Nepal (VIT OF-Nepal), and the NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association). As pioneer of tourism in Nepal, I am one of the executive members of Trekking Agents Association of Nepal (an umbrella organization of more than 500 trekking companies of Nepal.)

We are an adventure trekking and outdoors organization based in Nepal, specializing in mountain climbing, ‘off-the-beaten’ track adventure holidays, overland tours, white water rafting, cycling, mountain biking, bungee jumping, ticketing, and hotel booking. We have also been operating tours and trekking all over Nepal and Tibet, and we have been running special interest tours to India and Bhutan for over two decades.

All of the trekking and tour activities of our company are very much dedicated to the conservation of land and the preservation of culture. Our motto is “Where there is greenery, there is peace and happiness.” We take great pride in our pursuance of Agro-tourism, Eco-tourism, Cultural tourism and Peace tourism. 10 percent of our net profit contributes to socially and economically responsible activities such as tree plantations, campaigning to collect non-biodegradable waste from the trekking and mountaineering destinations, awareness programs for the local community about sanitation, hazards of deforestation, preservation of the ecosystem, proper hygiene, and maintenance of cleanliness, operation of health camps at our destinations, maintenance of trekking routes where damaged, and the spreading of information about high altitude to porters through trainings and workshops. In addition to this, we initiate and support several educational programs, such as the foundation and maintenance of libraries, the maintenance of infrastructure of schools in rural areas, and we provide funds for the education of impoverished children.

We very humbly request that you not hesitate to write us for more information and further details about your upcoming trip to Nepal. We can answer any questions, and help you have the most enjoyable trip possible.

Thank you for reading about us, and we wish you all the best for your memorable and safe journey to this exotic land.

With best regards,
